The public transportation means of new type started their services last year.
Those new buses and tram car were produced on the basis of the designs guided by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
In November Juche 112(2023), workers of the Pyongyang General Passenger Service Enterprise completed the production of new-type tram cars and trolley-buses as planned and made their trial runs.

"On November 21 last year the respected ComradeKim Jong Un was pleased to hear the report that the trial runs of new-type tram car and trolley-bus were made with success and took measures to start their services quickly.
He gave instructions on 85 occasions to make the trolley-buses, a public transportation means, represent the looks of the capital city of Pyongyang.
We've produced trolley-buses on the basis of the designs guided by him every year. Indeed, he had made so much time to give precious instructions on the type of trolley-bus, design of its inside and its fittings so as to provide the people with conveniences."
The Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held at the end of last year emphasized that the passenger service is one of the most fundamental and important problems in the life of the capital citizens at present.
The traffic network of the capital city has been further developed along with the appearance of the new-type tram cars, trolley-buses and passenger buses, increasing the people's pleasure.
