Delegation of General Military and Political Bureau of Armed Forces of Russian Federation lays wreath before Liberation Tower
The delegation of the General Military and Political Bureau of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation led by Victor Goremuikin, Vice-Minister of Defence and Director of the Bureau, laid a wreath before the Liberation Tower on the 5th.
Present on the occasion were Pak Yong Il, Deputy Director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, and Aleksei Bartusov, Military Attache of the Russian Embassy in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Guards of honour of the KPA were standing at the Liberation Tower.
Amid the playing of wreath-laying music, a wreath was placed before the tower in the name of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Soviet Army before looking round the tower.
