The Japanese imperialists collectively locked up the Koreans, who had been subjected to subhuman humiliation and insult and dangerous and hard labour, during the US forces' large-scale air raids on Tokyo and Osaka on March 10 and 13, 1945 in the last months of the Pacific war. As a result, a lot of Koreans died a grievous death. In this regard, a spokesman for the Association of Korean Victims of Forcible Drafting and Their Bereaved Families made public a press statement on the 9th under the title "We Will Certainly Settle Accounts with the Japanese Imperialists for Their Inhumane Atrocities against the Korean People" on the lapse of 80 years from the great tragedy.
