Choe Ryong Hae makes field survey of different sectors
  Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of different sectors.
  He visited the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex seething with the implementation of the decisions adopted at the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee and stressed the need to consistently push ahead with the work to further strengthen the foundation for producing Juche-based iron of Korean style while waging a vigorous struggle for increased iron and steel production.
  At the Taean Friendship Glass Factory he said mass movement should be conducted dynamically to innovate the ideological viewpoint and work attitude of the officials, enlist the spiritual strength of the working people and make a clear progress in the readjustment and reinforcement.
  Acquainting himself with the work of the Taean District People's Committee in the city of Nampho, he said the officials of the government organ should enhance their responsibility and play their role as the faithful servants of the people and in particular, all the deputies should become standard-bearers in the struggle for the overall development of the state and the welfare of the people and underscored the need to further strengthen the work of creating the social climate of law observance.
  The consultative meetings held on the spot discussed issues on strengthening cooperation with the relevant units in charge of the supply of raw and other materials for the iron and steel production and on raising the effectiveness of the mass movement according to the characteristics of the sectors and units concerned.
  Earlier, Choe Ryong Hae learned about the construction work and equipment assembly at the construction site of the Kangdong Cement Factory.
