Regional-industry factories inaugurated in city of Kusong
Residents in the city of Kusong witnessed the inauguration of the regional-industry factories built as the first creation of the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy".
They have come to the venue of the inaugural ceremony with an unusual pride of living in the new era when the regions are changed.
The inaugural ceremony of the regional-industry factories in the city of Kusong was held on the spot on January 30.
Present there were officials and working people in North Phyongan Province and the city of Kusong, soldier-builders and employees of the regional-industry factories.
Kim Chol Sam, Chief Secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made an inaugural address.
He said that looking up to the respected ComradeKim Jong Un who regards it as his
greatest honour to shoulder all the burdens for a new happy life of the
people, and devotes himself to them on the sacred road, the Korean people more firmly kept as their absolute creed the truth that both the present happiness and bright future are possible only under his care.
He ardently called upon all the officials to work harder and more vigorously to bring earlier the future of a rich, civilized and thriving country, bearing in mind that when they powerfully implement the regional industry development policy of the Party, it is possible to ensure stable and sustainable development of the national economy and constantly improve the people's living.
A speech was made by Kim Chol Ryong, Chief Secretary of the Kusong City Committee of the WPK, and then, managers of the factories cut the inauguration tape.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the factories.
An art performance was given.
Fireworks were set off, decorating the night sky beautifully.
